About cattery |
|
Accommodation |
The accommodation is purpose
built and our cats are housed in warm, spacious individual units each having a
window and its own secure block paved outdoor play area.
There are double size units with outdoor
play areas available for 2 cats or more from the same family.
In cold weather the cattery is heated at
no extra charge |
Beds |
Sleeping baskets and designer
duvets are provided but owners are encouraged to bring along a small rug or
blanket with which the cat is familiar. Long haired cats are groomed
daily at no extra charge. |
Travelling baskets |
Only a very few seasoned
travellers take kindly to journeys, therefore owners are advised to use a
suitable basket or container when carrying the cat outside its own environment |
Food |
Individual likes and
dislikes are catered for. Only the best food is provided,
prepared in hygienic conditions. We feed Purina One for sterilised cats and also Felix Effiles if
your cat prefers both. Regular meal times are
strictly adhered to, adult cats normally fed twice a day with kittens and older
cats according to their requirements.
Should you wish to provide your
own food, this is quite acceptable. |

Health requirements
No cat suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from, any infectious or
contagious can be accepted. All cats will be examined on arrival, but the
proprietors reserve the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of
ill health pending advice from a Veterinary Surgeon.
Owners will appreciate that this is
essential in order to safeguard the health of all cats boarded.
Veterinary attendance is assured
(should this prove necessary) and any treatment prescribed by a Veterinary
Surgeon can be continued during the cats stay including injections.
All cats must be vaccinated
against Feline Infectious Enteritis and Upper Respiratory Infections
(Cat Flu). Owners must be able to produce an up to date inoculation certificate on
arrival.
