About the Kennels...
Dog Boarding in the Countryside.
By popular request from our long-standing cat clients, we are delighted to now offer first-class dog boarding. Set within 2.5 acres of secure parkland and surrounded by 26 acres of meadows, woodland, and a lake, our purpose-built kennels provide a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment for your dog to enjoy while you’re away.
ACCOMODATION
We have six large, luxury kennels, each fully tiled, heated, and with its own secure, block-paved outdoor run — perfect for exercise even in wet weather. Every kennel offers plenty of space and comfort, ensuring your dog feels at home from the moment they arrive. During the warmer summer months, our traditional French stone building naturally stays cool, providing a comfortable retreat for your dog.
Activities
Dogs are exercised individually twice a day in our secure parkland, plus they enjoy a daily walk in our beautiful 26-acre grounds, including meadows, lakeside paths, and woodland trails. This one-to-one time helps dogs bond with us, keeps them stimulated, and ensures they never get bored. Free treats and biscuits are given after every exercise session.
Food
Our daily menu features Royal Canin food along with biscuits and treats. If your dog has a special diet or you prefer to supply their own food, we are happy to accommodate this. Fresh water is always available.
Comfort & Extras
Beds, bedding, and bowls are provided, and music is played daily to create a calm, homely atmosphere. The kennels are heated at no extra charge during colder months. Any necessary medical treatments can be administered during your dog’s stay. During periods of hot weather and to ensure their safety and wellbeing, outdoor exercise is kept gentle and to a minimum in the heat, with plenty of rest time in the cool kennels where they are most comfortable.

Our rates include high-quality Royal Canin food, biscuits, and treats, cosy beds with bedding, and daily music for a homely atmosphere. The kennels are heated in cold weather, and any necessary medical treatments can be given during your dog’s stay.

Payments & Terms
Boarding fees are payable at collection, or monthly for long-term boarders. We accept payment by cash or cheque (no card facilities available). While every reasonable measure is taken to ensure your dog’s safety and wellbeing, we cannot accept liability for loss, injury, escape, or illness. During peak periods, in the event of owners returning before the end of the period for which their pet is booked, the full period will be charged.

With over 40 years of experience in showing, handling, judging, and breeding championship-winning Afghan Hounds in the UK and Europe, we bring a lifetime of dog care knowledge to our kennels. Every dog is treated with individual attention, kindness, and respect, ensuring their stay is enjoyable and stress-free. All animals must be flea and tick treated before coming into us, if an animal is found with fleas they will be treated and the owner charged accordingly.
